Vegan Summer

I am getting ready to kickstart my vegan summer. Since school is out, it will be easier for me to do a juice cleanse, eat raw, and start getting myself into some great habits before the school year begins again. This is going to be a shorter summer than normal, so I think it actually will make it more doable. I'm going to document some of my progress via this blonde so that I have some accountability to you as I continue this journey. Just knowing that I'm going to put it on my blog makes me accountable to myself. And that's really who is the main person I need to be accountable to. Going to be there this summer is not just about health. It is about reducing the amount of animal products that I use on a daily basis. It is so hard to get through life without coming in contact with animal byproducts. I'm I am going to do my best to make this an animal byproduct-free summer. My goal is to lead a more healthful, mindful, cruelty free, sustainable lifestyle.

Today's breakfast is a smoothie made with unsweetened almond milk, one banana, one avocado, one mango, and a small piece of ginger. I included some vanilla protein powder to give it a little flavor and to add some additional protein.

This is going to be a summary of better choices!
