Spectrum Day 3- Aqua Jogging
For the third time this week, I did aqua jogging in the deep end of the pool running in the water, 1 mile each time. It took me a half an hour from my watch to register the mile. My Apple Watch knows my stride length and when I said it to running, it measures that movement. While I'm not on land, I am in the water, working against that resistance. at this point, I could never run on land nor would it be good for me or my joints. But aqua jogging takes that pressure off and allows me to work on my cardio, aerobics, and facilitates movement without pressure on my joints.
