Beans, Beans and more Beans..

I am still trying to decide if I should have eaten that fish last night.... To try to redeem myself, I have a crockpot full of garbanzos cooking while I'm away at work and school today. I am looking forward to trying my hand at making some hummus. I have tahini, but I want to see what else I can put in it that will make it flavorful without adding salt. I think I might roast some garlic and add it in.

I have had a good day today. All veggies, legumes and grains! I am also working on eating several small meals througout the day to help my metabolism. I have also backed off of fruit juices and am incorporating more water. I have a little problem with this because I don't like plain water very much and on top of this I am trying to eliminate artificial sweetners too- so crystal lite is out of the question. The bad part is that I don't even like water with lemon. Retraining the taste buds and the desires is tough work.
