Day 241- FullyRaw Challenge Day 2- breakfast

The other day, I decided to go to the farmer's market to prepare myself for this 21 day FullyRaw challenge I discovered at http://www.fullyraw.com/. I found a box of mangoes that were close to being two ripe for only three dollars a box. I love mangoes, but I have always been a really bad mango peeler. I looked online and found some tips about how to cut mangoes. They also showed a trick of how to peel the mango using a glass. I'm here to tell you that it works! I will share it on my Facebook page. It was A life transforming video to say the least! This morning I cut and peeled around nine mangoes.
From this, I was able get about 2 cups of pulp, beautifully cut halves and a pile of peelings for my compost. Also, I took the pits from the mangoes and have them on a baking sheet, freezing in my freezer. I plan to use those when I make my hibiscus green tea. I will place the pit in the tea as it brews to infuse the tea with mango. I think it's a good idea. I hope it works. I will certainly let you know.

Lastly, I made a shake using the pulp that I had collected from the mangoes. I added a banana, frozen blueberries, some cashew/almond milk blend and a little touch of cinnamon. The shake was amazing!!
