Spectrum- day 3 lunch

Last night I pre made a batch of Steel cut oats. It's a good idea to do this since it takes so long to cook the natural, not quick variety. So: 1 cup of oats, 2 cups water, 2 cups skim milk. No sugar, no sweeteners. This makes about four decent sized portions. Steel cut oats have a nutty taste and when made with some skim milk it just adds a creamy texture without the added fat. When divided, it actually amounts to about a half cup of skim milk per serving. A ripe plum and water top off today's lunch.
